With the signing of Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka yesterday for £50 million, Manchester United’s summer transfer window seems to be gathering pace.
Their buying spree doesn’t look to have finished, with the club being linked to a host of other names including Bruno Fernandes of Sporting Lisbon, and Ben Yedder of Sevilla. With so many names flying about, we decide to take a closer look at some of the odds available on the big moves that are on the horizon.
Fernandes of Sporting Lisbon is a player who is being strongly linked with United. With his agent in the country, apparently to hear offers from Premier League Clubs, the odds are looking on for a transfer. So much so that Betvictor are offering 8/11, Betfair are offering 5/6, and Paddy Power are offering 5/6, which all suggests this is a transfer which is literally odds-on to happen. Both of the latter are offering 1/1 on the player to join Liverpool, making the United the favourites.
Maguire is a player that continues to be linked with both Man United and Man City this summer. The 26 year old Leicester player would fill a badly needed hole at centre back for United, and with the likes of Vincent Kompany aged 33, he also be of good use at City. The latter are odds on favourites to sign him, with Skybet, Betfair offering 4/11, and Betfred offering 1/3.
Sean Longstaff fits the mould of player that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to be going for. Young and British, with lots of potential. The 21 year old Newcastle midfielder looks to be on his way to United, with a bid apparently already having been made for £15 million. He’s currently 2/5 to go to United, and a distant second 33/1 to go to Arsenal, both with Skybet.
Maddison continues the theme of young, British and full of potential. at 22 years old, the Leicester player is an attacking midfielder who made 26 appearances in the last season.
Betway are offering 1/3 for United to sign the player, while Betfair and Paddy Power are both offering much narrower 5/6. Liverpool are a team rumoured to be in the market for the player, but you should move fast as Betway are currently offering odds of 20/1.
Arsenal’s Aubameyang is a player linked to United to make up the for the lack of goals in the squad, as well as the possible departure of Lukaku. Skybet are offering 13/8, with Real Madrid a distant 22/1, so it’s looking like a very strong likelyhood that he will be heading north for a final payday in the premier league.
Real Madrid are currently favourites to sign the Tottenham midfielder to plug the gaps in their squad. Betfair and Paddy Power are offering 5/6 on him to head there, with the two bookies offering longer odds of 7/1 on him to head to United.
